Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP)
As an aspiring architect and current student at the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP), I am passionate about designing spaces that promote inclusivity and improve the quality of life for communities. With a developing background in design thinking, spatial analysis, and building technology, I am committed to creating innovative and sustainable solutions that address the challenges of the built environment. During my time at DAAP, I have gained hands-on experience through various design studios and volunteer work in the community, further fueling my drive to make a positive impact through architecture. I am eager to continue my growth and contribute my skills and perspectives to the field.
In my spare time, I am heavily involved in the University of Cincinnati community. I am currently the Graphics Coordinator in Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Kappa Kappa Gamma helps fundraise for the JED Foundation, which supports the mental health of adolescents and young adults. In addition, this semester, I was chosen as a team leader in Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations (SCNO). My team and I are actively working to revitalize the interface of GLADhouse, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing addiction in children and teenagers. I also serve on the Programs and Activities Council's (PAC) Events Committee, where I play an important role in organizing diverse and engaging free events for UC students. Outside of school, traveling, exploring, and learning are what I love the most! My favorite place I have been to is Iceland!
