Inspired by ADU precedents - The Wave House and the Marika-Alderton House, our project creates a modular cohousing community for students and the elders, focusing on affordability, privacy, and connection. Each unit includes a private bathroom, addressing a common barrier to cohousing. Outdoor courtyards and patios foster community interaction while maintaining personal autonomy. The design balances shared and private spaces to create a vibrant, intergenerational community.
